{"id":82983,"date":"2017-07-26T13:34:06","date_gmt":"2017-07-26T13:34:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=46e9561663b880fa044614336b9e4010"},"modified":"2017-07-26T13:34:06","modified_gmt":"2017-07-26T13:34:06","slug":"news-story-civil-news-promoting-more-accurate-billing-when-you-work-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=82983","title":{"rendered":"News story: Civil news: promoting more accurate billing when you work online"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>We are making changes to the response messages you receive from us when making civil online billing submissions.<\/p>\n<p>The changes are in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>evidence requests<\/li>\n<li>emergency bill submissions<\/li>\n<li>Family Advocacy Scheme work outside scope<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"evidence-requests\">1.\tEvidence requests<\/h2>\n<p>We have amended the evidence request you receive in the Client and Cost Management System to be more specific about the information we need.<\/p>\n<p>Our hope is that this will reduce the need to make second and third requests to you for further information.<\/p>\n<p>This change will be applied for provider and advocate bills.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"emergency-bill-submissions\">2.\tEmergency bill submissions<\/h2>\n<p>We will now prevent a solicitor bill from being submitted in error against a \u2018live emergency certificate\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>A bill should not be submitted before an assessment of the client\u2019s means has been completed.<\/p>\n<p>Payment on account and counsel bills remain unaffected by the change.<\/p>\n<p>This new error message will appear on both individual claims and on submissions made with bulk upload.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"family-advocacy-scheme-claims-outside-scope\">3.\tFamily Advocacy Scheme claims outside scope<\/h2>\n<p>We sometimes receive individual and bulk upload claims for aspects of Family Advocacy Scheme work which are not included within the scope of a case.<\/p>\n<p>This leads to rejection, assessment or requests for further information.<\/p>\n<p>A bill will no longer be accepted at the submission stage if the advocacy claim does not match the proceedings granted in the case and an error message will be displayed.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"further-information\">Further information<\/h2>\n<p>0300 200 2020 \u2013 talk to customer services if you have any questions<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Changes to our systems to help providers with their billing submissions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/82983"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=82983"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/82983\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=82983"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=82983"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=82983"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
