The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA<\/abbr>) has today (31 July 2017) announced the appointments of housing developers and contractors who have successfully bid for a place on its Delivery Partner Panel 3 (DPP3<\/abbr>) for the procurement of work to deliver residential-led development on public sector land.<\/p>\n

The panel will provide a simple and speedy Public Contract Regulations 2015 compliant procurement route for public sector organisations to appoint a developer or contractor. It consists of 70 leading national and regional housing developers and contractors and includes all activities necessary to construct housing and associated infrastructure, ranging from development and disposal of sites for residential use, to marketing and sales of homes.<\/p>\n

DPP3<\/abbr> is available free of charge to a wide range of local authorities, registered providers and other public sector bodies including central government departments, NHS Trusts and educational establishments to help them streamline their procurement process. By providing access to a pre-qualified list of housing developers, the panel makes procurement far more efficient, delivering significant time, cost and resource savings.<\/p>\n

HCA<\/abbr> Chief Executive Nick Walkley said:<\/p>\n

This autumn, the HCA<\/abbr> will relaunch as Homes England with the ambition of creating a better housing market. We\u2019re determined to get more homes built now and increase the rate of future development.<\/p>\n

So we hope as many local authorities and public bodies as possible use our improved Delivery Partner Panel to increase the pace of construction of new homes, while saving time, effort and costs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

DPP3<\/abbr> builds on the HCA<\/abbr>\u2019s experience of operating its first and second partner panels, which have so far delivered over 43,500 homes, through 258 schemes over 7 years.<\/p>\n

The new panel is split into 5 regional lots and aims to improve coverage and service, giving greater choice, flexibility and access to market.<\/p>\n

DPP3<\/abbr> will run from 31 July 2017 for a period of 4 years. A full list of members for each of the geographical lots is available on the Delivery Partner Panel page<\/a> on the HCA<\/abbr> website.<\/p>\n

The new panel replaces the HCA<\/abbr>\u2019s existing Delivery Partner Panel (DPP2) which expired on 31 March 2017.<\/p>\n
