Passport and Visas<\/h3>\n

Please check your passport and visa details:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 you don\u2019t need a visa to travel to Malta but you must have a valid passport
\n\u00b7 remember your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
\n\u00b7 make sure you take out good travel insurance \u2013 it could save you a lot of money if you get into difficulties
\n\u00b7 bring a copy of your passport bio-data page, in case you lose your passport or have it stolen
\n\u00b7 if you lose your passport, or have it stolen, you\u2019ll need to get an Emergency Travel Document (ETD) from the British High Commission<\/p>\n

Getting to Ta Qali Stadium<\/h3>\n

\u2022 there are limited transport links to the Ta Qali Stadium; You can catch a bus to reach the venue; routes from Valletta\/Sliema and Qawra will roughly take an hour
\n\u2022 No public transport is currently scheduled for after the match. The last bus leaves at 22:30 and the match will still be underway at that time.

At the match<\/h3>\n

\u2022access to the stadium might be slow; there will be ticket checks and you should have your FA membership card with you; \u2018pat down\u2019 body searches may take place at the entrance to the turnstiles
\n\u2022you should aim to arrive at the stadium early; gates will open 2 hours before kick-off.
\n\u2022flags and banners are welcome, but not if they\u2019re on sticks; flags of an overtly political, sectarian or religious nature won\u2019t be allowed and may be confiscated.
\n\u2022toilet and catering facilities will be available inside the stadium;
\n\u2022fans without tickets won\u2019t be allowed into the stadium and will be removed from the stadium area
\n\u2022fans who misbehave will be arrested and prosecuted the following day
\n\u2022alcohol won\u2019t be on sale inside the stadium.<\/p>\n

Helpful tips for the local area<\/h3>\n

As in any other city, beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations, around the town historical centre and when using public transport.<\/p>\n

Only carry what you need. Leave spare cash, your passport and valuables in hotel safety deposits and never leave valuables or anything on show in cars.<\/p>\n
