{"id":84794,"date":"2017-09-26T16:25:39","date_gmt":"2017-09-26T16:25:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=7d3c8068a6e5bb45e714938348158f61"},"modified":"2017-09-26T16:25:39","modified_gmt":"2017-09-26T16:25:39","slug":"news-story-civil-news-2018-tender-update-on-cla-contracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=84794","title":{"rendered":"News story: Civil news: 2018 tender update on CLA contracts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>A tender for specialist 2018 CLA telephone advice contracts opens on 26 September 2017.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"when-will-new-contracts-begin\">When will new contracts begin?<\/h3>\n<p>New CLA contracts will be signed in late May of 2018 with services starting on 1 September 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The contracts will cover work in the categories of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>family<\/li>\n<li>housing and debt<\/li>\n<li>education<\/li>\n<li>discrimination<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"how-long-will-the-contracts-last\">How long will the contracts last?<\/h3>\n<p>Each 2018 Civil Legal Advice contract will initially run until 31 August 2021, with an option for LAA to extend for up to a further 2 years.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"current-contract-extensions\">Current contract extensions<\/h3>\n<p>Existing telephone advice contracts to deliver these services are being extended to 31 August 2018.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"entry-requirements-and-submitting-a-bid\">Entry requirements and submitting a bid<\/h3>\n<p>The tender process is open to both existing contract holders and new entrants. It is a single stage process that will assess an organisation\u2019s suitability to contract with us and their ability to meet our service requirements.<\/p>\n<p>This will be a competitive tender based on quality and price.
