{"id":85977,"date":"2017-11-02T15:53:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-02T15:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=16f8c75df9c28aad6433edac28a53385"},"modified":"2017-11-02T15:53:00","modified_gmt":"2017-11-02T15:53:00","slug":"press-release-david-mundell-addresses-scottish-parliament-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=85977","title":{"rendered":"Press release: David Mundell addresses Scottish Parliament committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Scottish Secretary David Mundell will today [Thursday 2 November 2017] urge the Scottish Government and Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) to engage fully with the Brexit process, so together we can deliver the best possible deal for Scotland and the whole of the UK as we leave the EU.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Mundell will give evidence this morning [Thursday 2 November 2017]  to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/david-mundell-addresses-scottish-parliament-committee\">Scottish Parliament\u2019s Culture, Tourism, Europe and External Relations Committee<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following week [Wednesday 8 November] Mr Mundell and DExEU Minister Robin Walker will give evidence to the Scottish Parliament\u2019s Finance and Constitution Committee. Mr Walker and Cabinet Office Minister Chris Skidmore will also give evidence that day [Wednesday 8 November] to the Scottish Parliament\u2019s Delegated Powers Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking ahead of his appearance before the Committee today [Thursday 2 November 2017] Mr Mundell said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a huge task ahead of us as the UK Government negotiates our exit from the EU.
