{"id":86144,"date":"2017-11-08T17:20:49","date_gmt":"2017-11-08T17:20:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=7b73bf0f90474903a3a90ded06b5e79f"},"modified":"2017-11-08T17:20:49","modified_gmt":"2017-11-08T17:20:49","slug":"news-story-trusts-registration-service-registration-deadline-for-new-trusts-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=86144","title":{"rendered":"News story: Trusts Registration Service registration deadline for new trusts extended"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Following feedback from agents and stakeholders we are pleased to announce the Trust Registration Service (<abbr title=\"Trust Registration Service\">TRS<\/abbr>) deadline for new trusts has been extended further from 5 October 2017 to 5 January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Trusts which have incurred a liability to income tax or capital gains tax for the first time in the tax year 2016 to 2017 will need to complete registration on the <abbr title=\"Trust Registration Service\">TRS<\/abbr> by no later than 5 January 2018. This extension is only for the first year of the <abbr title=\"Trust Registration Service\">TRS<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for existing trusts to register on the <abbr title=\"Trust Registration Service\">TRS<\/abbr> will remain unchanged at 31 January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The <abbr title=\"Trust Registration Service\">TRS<\/abbr> online service replaces the 41G (Trust) paper form, which was withdrawn at the end of April 2017.
