This occurred shortly after the train had left Wimbledon station with approximately 146 passengers on board. The accident caused several minor injuries to passengers and considerable infrastructure damage.<\/p>\n<p>We have undertaken a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/raibs-response-to-accident-and-incident-notification#preliminary-examination\">preliminary examination<\/a> into the circumstances surrounding this accident.
