Ms Joanne Lomas has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of Rwanda, and Non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Burundi in succession to Mr William Gelling OBE, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Ms Lomas will take up her appointment during January 2018.<\/p>\n
