{"id":87381,"date":"2017-12-18T10:42:28","date_gmt":"2017-12-18T10:42:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=618461aee00db0a09e7701df420c46d2"},"modified":"2017-12-18T10:42:28","modified_gmt":"2017-12-18T10:42:28","slug":"news-story-sellafield-contract-win-for-uk-firm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=87381","title":{"rendered":"News story: Sellafield contract win for UK firm"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Cavendish Nuclear will design, manufacture and test glove box systems in two new plants which will treat and manage nuclear materials.<\/p>\n<p>Glove boxes are sealed containers designed so objects can be manipulated in an enclosed atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>The contract is worth up to \u00a395m over 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>Martin Chown, Sellafield Ltd supply chain director, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Safe and secure clean-up of the nuclear legacy at Sellafield is our number one priority.<\/p>\n<p>Treatment and management of nuclear materials in the appropriate environment is vital.<\/p>\n<p>Placing this contract with Cavendish Nuclear &#8211; a highly respected nuclear services provider \u2013 is an important step in our mission.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">The company has pledged to deliver a positive social impact for our local community during the contract.
