{"id":88712,"date":"2018-02-06T09:30:14","date_gmt":"2018-02-06T09:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=9b0495c1e64a2967530e4866ffc3226c"},"modified":"2018-02-06T09:30:14","modified_gmt":"2018-02-06T09:30:14","slug":"news-story-smart-battery-business-signs-deal-to-supply-in-japan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=88712","title":{"rendered":"News story: Smart battery business signs deal to supply in Japan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moixa.com\/\">Moixa<\/a>, a leading smart home battery business, is to launch its GridShare platform in Japan after signing a strategic partnership with Fortune 500 company <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itochu.co.jp\/en\/index.html\">ITOCHU Corporation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"bringing-gridshare-to-japan\">Bringing GridShare to Japan<\/h2>\n<p>GridShare trades power stored in home smart batteries with national power grids and allows battery owners to make money from excess energy either stored from the grid or gained from solar panels.<\/p>\n<p>It uses artificial intelligence to optimise battery performance based on patterns of behaviour, weather conditions and market prices. GridShare can also manage large numbers of devices to support solar generation, control electric vehicle charging and deliver services to the electricity grid.<\/p>\n<p>It will be installed in all of ITOCHU\u2019s Smart Star home batteries from the summer of 2018.
