He was sentenced to 5 years and 3 months in prison with a 3 year licence extension for offences including conspiracy to rape a child, conspiracy to commit sexual activity with a child, making indecent images of a child.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Court of Appeal increased his sentence to 7 years and 6 months, with a 3 year license extension.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking after the hearing, the Solicitor General said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">This man exploited children for his own sexual gratification. His actions will have had a devastating and lasting effect on their victims. Lindsay\u2019s crimes are truly despicable and deserved tougher punishment.
