{"id":89967,"date":"2018-03-15T10:45:25","date_gmt":"2018-03-15T10:45:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=650ef8cdffa0acdab3a72a48cfec7469"},"modified":"2018-03-15T10:45:25","modified_gmt":"2018-03-15T10:45:25","slug":"news-story-crime-news-simplifying-crm14-eforms-and-crm4-grant-letters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=89967","title":{"rendered":"News story: Crime news: simplifying CRM14 eForms and CRM4 grant letters"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Changes are being made to make it easier to apply and bill for criminal legal aid work to reduce the number of rejected applications.<\/p>\n<p>The improvements will be made on 20 March 2018 and affect:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CRM14 eForm applications<\/li>\n<li>CRM4 grant letters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"crm14-eform-changes\">CRM14 eForm changes<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p>Help buttons and guidance notes added to help providers see the information required before financial assessments can be carried out.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>New fields to allow providers to explain client\u2019s circumstances in more detail, e.g. when the client\u2019s outgoings exceed their income.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Additional tick boxes added to help explain why a client may not be declaring any income e.g. \u201cliving with parents\u201d, \u201cliving on the streets\u201d and \u201csupported by friends\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"crm4-grant-letter-changes\">CRM4 grant letter changes<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Updated letter will show both the amounts applied for and the amounts granted.
