{"id":90394,"date":"2018-03-26T14:50:05","date_gmt":"2018-03-26T14:50:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=6f2ad69cff39b6b091cc99dc208ff644"},"modified":"2018-03-26T14:50:05","modified_gmt":"2018-03-26T14:50:05","slug":"news-story-civil-news-rule-change-for-clients-threatened-with-homelessness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=90394","title":{"rendered":"News story: Civil news: rule change for clients threatened with homelessness"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Clients living in England threatened with homelessness within 56 days are within scope for legal advice following implementation of housing legislation passed in April 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, clients in England were not entitled to legal advice until the threat of homelessness was within 28 days.<\/p>\n<p>Providers will need to ensure that they are aware of the new rules for clients in England, which come into effect on 3 April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The change will mean that the definition is now consistent across both England and Wales.
