{"id":90869,"date":"2018-04-10T13:22:00","date_gmt":"2018-04-10T13:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=f5e3b81442667d86585c21ec461c2bd5"},"modified":"2018-04-10T13:44:10","modified_gmt":"2018-04-10T13:44:10","slug":"press-release-call-for-project-proposals-rwanda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=90869","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Call for Project Proposals &#8211; Rwanda"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> Needed to give a proper reference to the attachments<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The British High Commission (BHC) in Kigali is now accepting project proposals for the 2018\/2019 financial year (April 2018-March 2019).<\/p>\n<p>This year the BHC is seeking to support projects in Rwanda that focus on the following themes:<br \/>\n\u2022\tHuman Rights &#8211; Implementation of the accepted 2015 UPR recommendations and strengthening human rights in Rwanda<br \/>\n\u2022\tJustice &#8211; Strengthening the capacity of the criminal justice system, enabling improved access to justice and protection of rights for all citizens<\/p>\n<p>We are particularly interested in project proposals aiming towards the following outcomes:<br \/>\n1.\tMeasurable progress towards full implementation of the UPRs in Rwanda<br \/>\n2.\t Strengthening human rights in Rwanda via innovative activities to improve relationships and cooperation between all stakeholders (civil society organisations, the general public, relevant institutions and the Government of Rwanda)<br \/>\n3.\tMeasurable increase awareness of, and access to judicial services, particularly for citizens in rural areas<\/p>\n<p>Bid Guidance:<br \/>\n\u2022\tProjects are funded for a single financial year running from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019, with no expectation of continued funding beyond this period.<br \/>\n\u2022\tMinimum budget limit: \u00a315,000<br \/>\n\u2022\tMaximum budget limit: \u00a355,000<\/p>\n<p>Assessment:<br \/>\nBids will be assessed against the following criteria:<br \/>\n\u2022\tAlignment with the above mentioned thematic priorities and outcomes<br \/>\n\u2022\tOutcomes are achievable within the funding period<br \/>\n\u2022\tProject design includes clear monitoring and evaluation procedures<br \/>\n\u2022\tSustainability demonstrating the project benefits continue after the funding ends<br \/>\n\u2022\tRisk and financial accountability procedures<br \/>\n\u2022\tThe organisation\u2019s safeguarding policies that ensure protection of beneficiaries<br \/>\n\u2022\tOverall value for money<\/p>\n<p>Process:<br \/>\n1.\tProject proposals must be received by midnight on Friday 27th April. Late proposals will not be considered.<br \/>\n2.\tProposals must be submitted using the attached form only.<br \/>\n3.\tProposals must be submitted to BHC.Kigali@fco.gov.uk<br \/>\n4.\tSuccessful project proposals will be notified on Wednesday 9th May.
