{"id":92219,"date":"2018-05-23T13:31:25","date_gmt":"2018-05-23T13:31:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=69c7eea7eba3be52ee751478a69bbe82"},"modified":"2018-05-23T13:31:25","modified_gmt":"2018-05-23T13:31:25","slug":"news-story-julie-lennard-appointed-chief-executive-of-dvla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=92219","title":{"rendered":"News story: Julie Lennard appointed Chief Executive of DVLA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Julie Lennard has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Driver Vehicle Licensing Agency (<abbr title=\"Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency\">DVLA<\/abbr>).<\/p>\n<p>Ms Lennard will take up the post shortly and has been <abbr title=\"Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency\">DVLA<\/abbr>\u2019s interim Chief Executive since March.  Prior to this she was <abbr title=\"Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency\">DVLA<\/abbr>\u2019s Director of Strategy, Policy and Communications, held since August 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Department for Transport Permanent Secretary Bernadette Kelly said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">It is with great pleasure that I welcome Julie Lennard to the role, leading <abbr title=\"Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency\">DVLA<\/abbr> at such an important time as it develops into a digital hub for motorists. Julie is an experienced and talented leader and brings a wealth of experience to this crucial role.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ms Lennard is the first woman to be appointed as <abbr title=\"Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency\">DVLA<\/abbr>\u2019s Chief Executive.
