Information about the legal limits is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/your-rights-if-your-employer-is-insolvent\">available<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Other money you\u2019re owed will be paid to you automatically through the company\u2019s payroll. This includes salary, wages, or overtime you\u2019re owed.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"who-is-eligible\">Who is eligible<\/h3>\n<p>You can to apply to the Insolvency Service for redundancy pay, holiday pay and statutory notice pay if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you worked for Poundworld under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/employment-status\/employee\">an employment contract<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li>you live in England, Scotland or Wales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you live in Northern Ireland you will need to make you application through The Department for the Economy. Find out about <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/redundancyni.gov.uk\/\">your rights in Northern Ireland if your employer is insolvent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/employment-status\/worker\">Workers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/employment-status\/selfemployed-contractor\">self-employed contractors<\/a> who provided services to the company are not eligible to apply. Instead, these individuals should <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.deloitte.com\/uk\/poundworld\">contact the administrator to register as creditors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"how-to-apply\">How to apply<\/h3>\n<p>The Administrator will give details about how to apply and will also give you a case reference number (eg CN12345678).<\/p>\n<p>Once you have this information you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/claim-redundancy\">apply online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"paying-your-claim\">Paying your claim<\/h3>\n<p>Once you submit your online application, it takes us an average of 14 days to process your application and pay claims.<\/p>\n<p>However, sometimes we need to get additional information from you or from the administrator. This can take a bit of time.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll contact you directly if we need anything from you.<\/p>\n<p>We always try to pay eligible claims within 6 weeks of receiving the application.<\/p>\n<div class=\"call-to-action\">\n<p>Please don\u2019t contact us to check the status of your application until after the six weeks have passed. If you do not have a case reference number, please contact the administrator.<\/p>\n<p>If you need to email us after submitting your claim, please only use the email address you gave on your application form. Otherwise, we won\u2019t be able to respond to you for security reasons.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"other-support-available-to-you\">Other support available to you<\/h3>\n<p>JobCentre Plus, through its Rapid Response Service, is ready to support any employee affected by this announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Support could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>helping people facing redundancy to write CVs and find jobs<\/li>\n<li>providing general information about benefits<\/li>\n<li>helping people to find the right training and learn new skills<\/li>\n<li>helping with costs like travel to work expenses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Scotland, redundancy support is provided through the Scottish Government\u2019s Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) \u2013 there is more information on the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.skillsdevelopmentscotland.co.uk\/our-services\/services-for-individuals\/redundancy-help-and-advice\/what-is-pace-redundancy-support.aspx\">Skills Development Scotland website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In Wales, the service is delivered by the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/gov.wales\/topics\/educationandskills\/skillsandtraining\/reactemployers\/?lang=en\">ReAct scheme<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In Northern Ireland, for Jobseeker\u2019s Allowance (JSA) and Income Support, contact your <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nidirect.gov.uk\/contacts\/jobs-benefits-offices-jobcentres-and-social-security-offices\">Jobs and Benefits office<\/a>.
