{"id":93388,"date":"2018-06-28T18:10:41","date_gmt":"2018-06-28T18:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=1cb8cda5c5b3b7211a24d10e94549f96"},"modified":"2018-06-28T18:10:41","modified_gmt":"2018-06-28T18:10:41","slug":"press-release-biigc-announcement-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=93388","title":{"rendered":"Press release: BIIGC Announcement"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The BIIGC is a consultative forum established by Strand Three of the Belfast Agreement with the aim of bringing \u2018together the British and Irish Governments to promote bilateral co-operation on all matters of mutual interest within the competence of both governments\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The BIIGC is not an executive body and as the Belfast Agreement states explicitly, \u201cthere will be no derogation from the sovereignty of either government\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As the BIIGC is \u2018concerned with non-devolved Northern Ireland matters\u2019, the focus of the meeting will be on East-West issues.
