{"id":93536,"date":"2018-07-04T07:51:28","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T07:51:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=2e60fd215aa4338170c2338a42623a8e"},"modified":"2018-07-04T07:51:28","modified_gmt":"2018-07-04T07:51:28","slug":"news-story-uk-and-ukraine-welcome-progress-on-trade-relationship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=93536","title":{"rendered":"News story: UK and Ukraine welcome progress on trade relationship"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The UK and Ukraine have been engaging on the future growth of trade and investment links between both countries after the UK leaves the EU, including during the Ukrainian Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister \u2013 Trade Representative of Ukraine, Nataliya Mykolska\u2019s, recent visit to London.<\/p>\n<p>As the UK is in the process of exiting the EU, Ukraine welcomed the UK\u2019s intention to avoid any disruption to trade. In particular, both countries welcomed ongoing discussions to ensure continuity of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, which includes a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (<abbr title=\"Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement\">DCFTA<\/abbr>), which facilitates more than \u00a31.7 billion in trade between the 2 countries, once the UK leaves the EU.<\/p>\n<p>The UK informed Ukraine on the UK-EU agreement, reached at the March European Council, that the UK is to be treated as a member state for the purposes of international agreements during the EU-UK Implementation Period.
