{"id":94688,"date":"2018-08-10T10:57:00","date_gmt":"2018-08-10T10:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=74585a61ea50eee6f12a379e9d040ee0"},"modified":"2018-08-30T13:56:55","modified_gmt":"2018-08-30T13:56:55","slug":"news-story-new-competition-biosensing-across-wide-areas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=94688","title":{"rendered":"News story: New competition: Biosensing across wide areas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> Competition now open.<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p><abbr title=\"Defence and Security Accelerator\">DASA<\/abbr> is launching this competition to seek ideas for innovative technologies that can provide an improved way to rapidly detect and locate hazardous biological agents in the field.The ultimate aim is for a fieldable system that would detect and report without users (including trained military specialists and civilian first line responders) coming into close contact with the hazard.<\/p>\n<p>By detecting these hazards as early as possible and remotely, it will enable front line users to safely avoid them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/competition-summary-biosensing-across-wide-areas\">This competition<\/a> has an initial budget of \u00a3500k for Phase 1.
