{"id":96033,"date":"2018-09-26T12:28:49","date_gmt":"2018-09-26T12:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=2a144a13f91bc6305c789ee1ac243492"},"modified":"2018-09-26T12:28:49","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T12:28:49","slug":"press-release-pms-bilateral-with-president-erdogan-of-turkey-25-september-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=96033","title":{"rendered":"Press release: PM&#8217;s bilateral with President Erdogan of Turkey: 25 September 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Prime Minister held a bilateral meeting with President Erdogan of Turkey in New York earlier today (25 September 2018).<\/p>\n<p>They agreed that the trade and investment relationship between the UK and Turkey was strong and would continue to strengthen as the UK left the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>They discussed Syria, agreeing on the need for a reinvigorated political process.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister welcomed Turkey\u2019s recent agreement with Russia to avert an offensive on Idlib, which would have caused immense humanitarian suffering.
