{"id":96662,"date":"2018-10-17T09:21:15","date_gmt":"2018-10-17T09:21:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=f68ff768f14c3aec155e4624ccd3c608"},"modified":"2018-10-17T09:21:15","modified_gmt":"2018-10-17T09:21:15","slug":"news-story-regional-allocation-of-adult-social-care-winter-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=96662","title":{"rendered":"News story: Regional allocation of adult social care winter funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The extra funding, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/240-million-social-care-investment-to-ease-nhs-winter-pressures\">announced by Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock earlier this month<\/a>, is aimed at reducing delayed transfers of care and could pay for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>home care packages to help patients get out of hospital quicker<\/li>\n<li>reablement packages, which support workers to help patients carry out everyday tasks and regain mobility and confidence<\/li>\n<li>home adaptations, including new facilities for personal care, such as adapting a shower room if a patient has limited movement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Councils have been allocated the funding based on the adult social care relative needs formula.
