Documents and supporting evidence can now be uploaded when you make your prior authority request for costs such as expert witnesses.<\/p>\n

This new feature is an improvement on the previous process when working in the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS).<\/p>\n

The previous process meant submitting a request and then receiving a notification known as a \u2018documents required action\u2019. But by taking advantage of the new feature you can avoid this stage in the process.<\/p>\n

What happens if no document is uploaded?<\/h3>\n

You can still make your prior request in line with the previous process. It just means that you will be sent a \u2018document request\u2019.<\/p>\n

Which documents should be uploaded?<\/h3>\n

Below is a list of relevant documents:<\/p>\n

    letter of Instruction \u2013 expert or other expense prior authority<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    other parties\u2019 certificate references \u2013 expert or other expense prior authority<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    psychologist\/psychiatric report on the client \u2013 intermediary prior authority<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    counsel advice or narrative on level of representation \u2013 counsel prior authority<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
