{"id":97316,"date":"2018-11-07T09:28:29","date_gmt":"2018-11-07T09:28:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=b770dea02c802bdb1ac3f7d08bc81d97"},"modified":"2018-11-07T09:28:29","modified_gmt":"2018-11-07T09:28:29","slug":"news-story-committee-on-radioactive-waste-management-visit-to-hinkley-point-c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=97316","title":{"rendered":"News story: Committee on Radioactive Waste Management visit to Hinkley Point C"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (<abbr title=\"Committee on Radioactive Waste Management\">CoRWM<\/abbr>) visited Hinkley Point C on 2 October 2018, to observe progress made with the construction of 2 European Pressurised Water Reactors (<abbr title=\"European Pressurised Water Reactors\">EPRs<\/abbr>). The facility is operated by EDF Energy.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee members were shown a video which provided an update on the progress made on the project. This was followed by a very interesting tour of the facility which highlighted the sheer scale of the operation.
