The position
The Department of Health is seeking to appoint a Chair and 7 members to the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
The Member roles sought are:
- infectious disease epidemiologist
- health economist
- bacteriologist
- infectious disease clinician
- general practitionerp
- public health specialist
- lay representative
Time and Pay
There is no remuneration for these posts but candidates will be eligible to claim allowances for travel and subsistence.
The Department of Health determines the length of appointments, which will be for up to three years.
