The project to create a new leasing standard which would bring all leases
on balance sheet has received considerable input from outreach activities and comments
from constituents. As our regular resident columnist Robert Bruce reports, as
the Boards re-deliberates, the importance of scope and recognising or presenting certain types of leases differently has come to the fore.
