This conference, hosted by Public Health England, will provide an update on the global and UK local situation on Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV), including:

• clinical, virological and epidemiological features
• investigation and research
• public health response

The conference brings together local, national and international perspectives on this disease, to consider its potential future course and to agree research priorities.

Speakers both from the UK, involved the UK’s response, and international experts, will present their findings to date.
