Rape and other forms of sexual violence in conflict are appallingly common – affecting mostly women and girls, but also men and boys. The Prevention of Sexual Violence in Conflict Debate will look at accountability for crimes of sexual violence on the national level and how the United Nations can better support countries in holding perpetrators to account.

The debate will be available to watch live on-line at webtv.un.org. For live tweets and developments on the debate follow #ukpres or #timetoact on Twitter.
