Consultation proposal

The consultation proposal is the first of a 2 phase review. The review will be on:

• the first application for a driving licence
• 10 year renewals of photocard driving licences
• digital tachographs

By focusing on these transactions it allows the DVLA to help first time drivers, professional drivers and the large proportion of all drivers who have to renew their photocard licence every 10 years.
