The Queen has been graciously pleased to approve the following ministerial appointments:

• James Duddridge MP has been appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office following the departure from government of Mark Simmonds MP

• Lord Bourne of Aberystwyth has been appointed as a Government Whip, House of Lords (Lord in Waiting)
