The Government has completed its triennial review of the Parole Board. Having conducted a thorough review of our function and governance, the Ministry of Justice recommended to the Cabinet Office that we continue to function as an executive Non-Departmental Public Body (NDPB) and made some minor recommendations about our governance, many of which are already being introduced as part of our corporate governance review.

This outcome is good news for the Parole Board and a strong endorsement of the work we are doing.
