The Official Solicitor acts for some of the most vulnerable members of society and is often at the forefront of legal developments affecting the vulnerable.

The Official Solicitor’s civil litigation team has a vacancy for a lawyer. The post holder will be responsible for the supervision and, in more complex matters, case management of a broad range of cases in the High Court and the County Court. The types of cases managed by the team include Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury, Landlord and Tenant, Judicial Review, Insolvency, Inheritance Act claims, TOLATA applications and Displacement of Nearest Relative applications under the MHA.
