The Welsh Government have carefully considered the responses to their recent consultation on the future care and support arrangements for Independent Living Fund (ILF) recipients in Wales. Following the consultation, the Welsh Government has decided to transfer the responsibility and funding to local authorities from 1 July 2015.

The Independent Living Fund remains committed to supporting its users until the transfer to the new arrangements.
