The gas main replacement will be carried out by Southern Gas Networks and are expected to last approximately 7 weeks.

It will be carried out using narrow lanes and a 20mph speed limit. Access to and from Church Lane and Star Lane will be closed throughout the project with signed diversions in place.

We have been working with Southern Gas Network to ensure that their work is carried out efficiently to minimise the disruption. I advise drivers to plan their journeys to allow extra time.
