Minister for the Middle East and North Africa Tobias Ellwood said:

I utterly condemn today’s attack at The Mosque of the Special Emergency Forces in Asir Province in Saudi Arabia. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. Attacks such as this underline the need for us to continue to work with our close partners such as Saudi Arabia to eradicate such barbarous acts of violence from our societies.
