The road will be closed between the A183 Chester Road interchange and the A1231 Hylton Grange interchange overnight between 8pm and 6am for 5 days.

Highways England project manager Kyle Maylard said:

We are carrying out this vital resurfacing work overnight to minimise the disruption for drivers.

Diversions will be in place via the A183, A182 and A1231 to rejoin the A19 at the Hylton Grange Interchange.
