The Guest Lecture Series was commissioned by Sir Jeremy Heywood, Head of the Civil Service. It was launched at universities across the country to give students an insight into working in the Civil Service.
Lectures are delivered by senior civil servants, including permanent secretaries and directors general. They share their experiences and insight in order to contribute to students’ development and enable them to understand more about the Civil Service as a potential future employer. The overall aim of the sessions is to inspire, motivate and encourage students to consider a career as a civil servant.
