News story: London seminar: Hello… is it me you’re commissioning for? (3 December, 2015)

This item was filled under Housing

The provision of high quality services for victims of crime requires visionary leadership, a whole systems approach and design that is acutely responsive to the voice of the victim.

Current and impending resource constraints emphasise the need to know what victims want and need, identify approaches that can deliver best, and act in those instances where delivery doesn’t meet expectation. In addition, strong collaborations and a whole system approach will become increasingly critical if we are to achieve best value from increasingly small pockets of funding.

This event will share the outcomes of a year long cross sector Academy learning group, focused on victim services commissioning. The group benefitted from a broad professional representation of highly skilled and experienced individuals from England, Wales and Scotland.
