Updated: A new fee structure for PCT applications is in effect from today 1 January 2016.

The fees for Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications changed on 1 January 2016 and are as follows:

Transmittal fee

  • £75

Search fee

  • £1384

International fee:

  • £899: first 30 pages
  • £10: each sheet over 30

Request for restoration of priority

£150

Reductions for e-filing:

  • £135: electronic filing (not being in character coded format)
  • £203: electronic filing (being in character coded format)

£20: fees for preparation of priority document

£5: fees for preparation of earlier search documents
