PDF guides about how to use the Land Registry portal have been replaced with 40 new HTML guides.

The text has been updated and screenshots improved, to make the guides clearer and easier to read.

The new guides are shorter, eg how to request official copies has reduced from 56 pages to 13. Long guides were split into 2 shorter guides, eg there are now 2 guides about e-RX1: standard restrictions and non-standard restrictions. We have also created a new guide about how to apply for a full land charges search.

Having the guides in HTML format makes the text more easily searched within GOV.UK, which means it’s easier for portal customers to find information.
