This item was filled under Housing

Speaking about the attack, Minister Sharma said:

I wholeheartedly condemn the recent attacks on places of worship in Afghanistan which have killed several civilians, injured many more and was clearly intended to create sectarian tensions. My thoughts are with the family and friends of those affected by this terrible attack and I offer my deepest condolences.

The UK stands together with all Afghans in the face of such cruel and divisive attacks, and remains steadfast in our ongoing commitment to working with the Government of Afghanistan to help build a more stable and secure Afghanistan.
