We wish to make wholesalers and veterinary surgeons aware that the VMD has been notified that Vetpharma Animal Health SL has issued a recall of two batches of the veterinary sedative Hipnoton 10 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Horses and Cattle (Vm 32509/4007).

A high incident rate of lack of efficacy has been reported for batches:

• DTH004
• DTH006
