The Financial Services Authority (FSA) recently published a Guidance Paper ‘Forbearance and Impairment Provisions – Mortgages’. The UK Accounting Standards Board (ASB) of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has noted that it welcomes the release of this paper.
